A & D Adventures, LLC began in the early 2000s as the need for various reproduction vintage gear has grown. I have always made “stuff” since a boy, so reproducing some of the gear I grew up with was a natural progression.
A & D Adventures, LLC has been fortunate to be part of the production of vintage dive events including two Sea Hunt commemoration shows at Silver Springs, FL in 2008 and 2011. Both of these events provided an venue for vintage divers to use the gear as seen on the TV show. Much of the dive equipment was made by us for the cast and crew of the anniversary celebration.
Proud to have been a “cast member” of the Sea Hunt Anniversary events, and becoming friends with so many wonderful people associated with vintage diving.
Your attention to detail, quality and loyalty to classic scuba equipment design regarding webbing for the tank harness, accessories, labels, etc. is greatly appreciated by those who do not seem to be able to warm up to the modern way scuba equipment is manufactured today by investor management folks who ‘think’ they pretty well know the market, but don’t exactly.
